Stop wasting time with computer errors.
Over the past few weeks, some of our readers have come across a known error message that caused the installation of service Pack 3 of 3 to get stuck. This problem can occur for many reasons. We will review them now.
A week after the hard fact, MS reports that the recently released April Companion Update is stuck in certain installation sequences
If you’re wondering why your computer has been stuck at the “Step 3 of 3” screen for years after installing last Tuesday’s patches, people all over the world have the answer. Or the fastest author is a civil servant. Hat
Microsoft originally released KB 3020369, “April 2015 Stack Recovery Supplemental Update.for Windows 7 and then Windows Server 2008 R2, a hotfix released on Wednesday, April 29, as part of a group of friends frankly outside the talking group of seven fixes. For this unspecified (and, as far as I can tell, undocumented) reason, DST was set as part of the May 12th to Tuesday patch. May, reissue.
Shortly after a lot of fixes were released, users started complaining that installing fixes could cause Windows 7 to crash on restart due to message 3 “Step from .Preparing to configure Windows. I”.
As was simplified last week, computers were wasting hours and hours on this, the only and (predictable) way to solve this problem was usually to shut down the computer or use Ctrl-Alt-Del. Windows seemed to recover from Stunned, to no avail.
I mentioned at the time that I have an Answers poster forum that narrowed down the mailing list of potentially bad fixes related to KB 3020370, KB 3045645, KB 3020369 (which I confused with KB 3020269) KB and 3013531. Ascending, they are were right. .
Microsoft just updated their knowledgebase KB 3020369, addviv:
How to stop Windows 7 update in progress?

Why does Windows 10 update get stuck?
An outdated Windows.10 update can sometimes be fixed by removing temporary content for which Windows Updates are downloaded. Can this force windows to download its files again and then attempt a clean install. If the Windows 10 update may have been stuck due to broken or corrupted files, this should resolve the crisis.
After installing modification 3020369 along with other updates, you may be required for the computer to perform the actual installation. When you reboot you are probably stuck on “Much Plus Stage 3”.
If you encounter this problem, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to continue recording. This should only be done in your free time and will not interfere with a successful News installation.
Update installation hangs after installing update 3020369
When installing 3020369 along with optional updates, you may experience an issue causing the parsed update to fail immediately after installing Modernize 3020369.
This issue only affects hotfix attempts 3020369 immediately after the hotfix. If update 3020369 is installed very repetitively, the attempt to install the update frequently should succeed.
At the moment, there is no indication of whether the new patch will be re-released, or if it will be released and when. Microsoft just lets customers specify what they want Should consider taking it by looking at “Step 3 Screen” for a few hours.

How to tell if Windows update is stuck?
they determine whether Windows modifications are blocked when nothing happens on the screen for at least 3 hours. You will notice either a lack of activity on each of the (blocked) ones, or regular very, but very fast flashes. light (peeled off).

If shoppers have been wondering why your PC is stuck on the Step 3 of 3 screen after many patch installs last Tuesday, we have the answer. Or a powerful less official author.
Microsoft originally released KB 3020369, the April 2015 Optional Servicing Pack Update for Windows 7 and/or Windows Server 2008 R2, a hotfix bundled as part of an out-of-band special group of seven hotfixes on Wednesday, April 29th. As I explained last week, they’ve been sitting in front of the computer for hours and the only way to fix it (predictably) is to shut down the computer or use Ctrl-alt-del . in the Exploited market due to its amazing performance, Windows seemed to bounce back without any side effects.
At this point, I mentioned a discussion of the answers that narrowed down the list of possible bad fixes to KB 3020370, KB 3045645, 3020369 kb (which I incorrectly identified as KB 3020269) and KB 3013531. those people are right.
