Is MPEG-4 a codec?

264 is a really high compression ratio. It is typically 1.5 to 2 times more efficient than MPEG-4 encoding. images The quality is also better, so playback is smoother than full MPEG-4 compression. However, the most attractive feature is the reduced data rate required for network transmission.

Hello friends! I work for a major movie site where I code all my movies until I read that this forum was unaware of this kind of divx and mac mess. So far I’ve been encoding all individual files with all sorts of divx codecs, this was a bug that I was aware of, sorry! 🙂 my wife and I would like to know what I should do to make sure that all Mac members (most with newer OSes) can play my files if I actually forgot to create .avi-divx .and .stuff, . how ..will MPEG files solve these and problems? how many macbook users have installed individual WMP?
